Groveland Park Elementary Chess Club Fall 2023-Spring 2024!

The Groveland Park Chess Club is starting again on Tuesday, October 10th 2024! The chess club will again be taught by National Master William Harrison of West Chess. We will meet in the cafeteria from 4pm-5:30pm on Tuesdays starting Oct. 10th. West Chess is dedicated to the instruction and appreciation of the game of chess. Chess club is fun time for new and experienced players grades k-5. We will learn strategies for openings, midgames and endgames. New students are welcome. All students will earn points for participation and achievement in chess club and win PRIZES!! Come join us and make new friends and enjoy old ones!!

                    
The cost of the club is $130 per student, per quarter. You may pay at arrival by the first day. There is a discount for signing up for multiple sessions. Pay using the Square link after submitting the form on www.mnwestchess.com, our website. An after school snack and all equipment will be provided. Please make your payment to West Chess.
